As a Greater Baton Rouge Louisiana Home Appraiser, I would agree and recommend typing out that list of updates or upgrades, list what year each improvement was made and add each items approximate cost. An Appraiser will typically take such a typed out list and scan that document into their appraisal report documenting within report their basis for both quality and condition ratings of home being appraised, as well to explain why quality or condition adjustments were applied. I would also recommend the Appraiser be given this list upon their arrival so they can view and verify items on list and take extra photos of their digital work file and report.
